#46. CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK
Under the Arch -- where else -- stands a 46-foot-tall fir this year.
Strung with lights, it’s a selfie-lovers dream. Day and night visitors come to shoot each other and themselves.
The tree lighting comes with a brass quartet and a singalong.
On Xmas eve the brass returns, and a crowd of carolers join in.
Can’t deny that these are feel good moments. And a reminder of what my wife always says:
“Greenwich Village is the best small town in America.”
