#60. PURE JOY
Most Park visitors have no reason to visit the Robin Kovary Run for Small Dogs on the south side of Washington Square. But even without a dog, it’s worth a visit.
Peek over the fence, and I dare you not to smile.
Bundles of brown, black, and white fur tumble and rumble together in frantic bursts of pent-up energy and pure happiness at being off leash. A Toy Poodle, a Welsh Corgie, a Lhasa Apso, a Labradoodle, all kinds of Terriers. They look like stuffed animals come to life.
Oh, and there’s an occasional visit from this two-toned Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who stays a bit aloof from the action.
